If this is your first Joomla site, you are in the right place. Joomla gives you what you need to publish a site and keep it current without writing code.

Start by signing in to the site administrator using the account you created when Joomla was installed.

Explore the sample articles here to see how the pieces of a Joomla site fit together. When you are finished, you can archive or delete all of it and replace it with your own content.

A standard Joomla installation already covers what most sites need. When you want more, the Joomla Extensions Directory lists thousands of add-ons, and the Joomla Service Providers Directory lists professionals who build and support Joomla sites.

For reference material and community help, see the Joomla documentation site and the Joomla support forums. To meet other users in person, look for a Joomla User Group or an upcoming event.
